OUR WEDDING
We will be holding the wedding and reception on beautiful Sanibel Island off the southwest coast of Florida.
ACCOMODATIONS
Sanibel has many wonderful accomodation options. We have secured a wedding room block with the Sanibel Inn, which is where our ceremony will be taking place. To book the Sanibel Inn at the discounted wedding block rate please follow these instructions:

- Contact us (Greg or Lauren) by phone or email directly with your room type choice.
- We will provide you with a hotel room confirmation number for your room type.
- Once you have your confirmation number call the Inns of Sanibel at (239) 472-5170 Monday-Friday between 7am and 3pm EST and ask for Jason.
- Provide your confirmation number and payment information to Jason to secure your room.
There are limited numbers of each room type, so to ensure you get your first choice please book early! Our discounted rate is 20% off of the normal Sanibel Inn prices. This discount is only available for rooms booked before the end of July of 2018.
SANIBEL INN
The wedding party will be staying at the Sanibel Inn, and this is also where the ceremony will be held.
TRANSPORTATION
Sanibel has roughly 17-square miles of land and connects to the mainland by a 3-mile-long causeway. The Island is located ~40 mins by car from the closest Airport – Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). To ensure that you don't miss-out on any of the fun activities you'll see below, we want you to know your transportation options both to get on, off and around the island.
If you are flying-in to RSW, the best mode of transportation is a rental car. This allows you to have easy access to the hotel and to get around the island to visit the attractions at your leisure. RSW rental companies have good deals on small cars and can go for as little as $20 per night – although if traveling at the same time as family/friends you may be able to save more by getting a larger car that you can share. Hertz also has a car pick-up/drop-off location on the island - great if you want to car-pool to the island, but then have access to your own car. If you are renting a car to drive onto the island please note that there is a $6 toll to get onto the causeway.

- Take I-75 through Florida until you reach exit 131 (Daniels Pkwy)
- Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy (2.9 mi)
- Continue straight onto Gladiolus Dr (1.2 mi)
- Use the left lane to merge onto County Rd 869 S/Summerlin Rd via the ramp to Ft Myers Beach/Sanibel/Captiva (3.9 mi)
- Keep left to continue straight on Summerlin Rd (2.5 mi)
- Continue straight onto McGregor Blvd (1.7 mi)
- Continue straight onto Sanibel Causeway (toll road - $6) (3.3 mi)
- Continue straight onto Causeway Blvd (0.4 mi)
- Continue straight onto Lindgren Blvd (0.6 mi)
- The Sanibel Inn is directly in front of you at the intersection of Lindgren Blvd and E Guld Dr. (154 ft)
